Returns & Exchanges

This Returns & Exchanges Policy explains how cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds are handled for orders placed with Judic Store.

Because many of our products are personalised or made to order, please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Change of mind returns

For many online purchases in Ireland and the EU, consumers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day they receive the goods. During this period, you may cancel your order and return most non-personalised products. However, certain products are excluded from this right, including personalised or made-to-order items.

The CCPC explains that online purchases usually have a 14-day cooling-off period, but exceptions include personalised made-to-order items and certain goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons. These exceptions do not affect your rights if an item is faulty.

2. Personalised and made-to-order items

Personalised, customised or made-to-order products cannot usually be returned, exchanged or refunded simply because you changed your mind.

This includes products personalised with names, initials, dates, phrases, images, colours, embroidery details or any other custom option chosen by you.

Please check all personalisation details carefully before placing your order. This includes spelling, capitalisation, dates, punctuation, colour choices and any other custom information.

Once production has started, it may not be possible to cancel or change a personalised order.

3. Non-personalised items

If you purchased a non-personalised item and wish to return it because you changed your mind, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must be:

You may be responsible for the cost of returning the item unless we agree otherwise or unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@judic.ie.

Please include:

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or not as described, we will offer an appropriate solution in accordance with your consumer rights. This may include a repair, replacement, refund or another suitable resolution.

Your rights for faulty goods still apply even if the item is personalised.

5. Cancellations before dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@judic.ie.

If the order has not yet been processed, personalised, made or dispatched, we may be able to cancel it and issue a refund.

If the order is personalised or made to order and production has already started, cancellation may not be possible.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges may be possible for eligible non-personalised items, depending on stock availability and the condition of the returned item.

Personalised or made-to-order items cannot usually be exchanged unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrect.

If you would like to request an exchange, please contact us at info@judic.ie before sending any item back.

7. Return process

Before returning any item, please contact us by email so we can review your request and provide return instructions.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as this may delay the processing of your return.

When contacting us, please include your order number, the reason for the return or exchange request and any relevant photos.

8. Return shipping costs

For eligible change-of-mind returns, you may be responsible for the cost of returning the item.

If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will review the case and provide an appropriate solution, which may include covering reasonable return postage where required.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service when returning items, as we cannot process a return or refund for items that we do not receive.

9. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will normally be made to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank, card provider or payment provider to process and display the refund in your account.

10. Items that cannot be returned

Unless faulty, damaged or incorrect, the following items cannot usually be returned or exchanged:

11. Customer errors in personalisation

We create personalised products based on the details provided by the customer at the time of order.

We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information submitted by the customer, including spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, wrong initials, wrong names, incorrect colour selections or unclear instructions.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to help, but changes cannot be guaranteed once production has started.

12. Colours and product variations

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, thread colours, fabrics and materials accurately. However, colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, fabric texture, thread batches and production conditions.

Minor variations in colour, positioning, embroidery finish or handmade/custom production details are not usually considered faults unless the product is materially different from what was ordered.

13. Gifts

If you received a Judic Store item as a gift and there is a problem with it, please contact us with as much order information as possible.

We may need proof of purchase or order details before we can process a return, exchange, replacement or refund.
